Every IT company needs a remote assistance tool and there's no shortage of offerings out there. Throughout the years Benson & Associates has partnered with many companies that offer similar solutions but found ourselves asking "how can we make this better?".

What we came up with was an SSL secured (online banking level security) VNC connection to a proxy gateway located in the data centre at Benson & Associates' head office. This method not only eliminates user configuration but allows us to be 100% accountable for the data transferred over the line instead of relying on outside vendors to properly secure the transfer.

Our Savannah "Quick Server" version is available for free download on our website and is offered without charge to all of our clients. For those who require a more managed service the "Persistent Server" is currently in active development for easy one-click assistance of our managed service clients.
